Please Vote for our Outdoor Fitness Area! https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/4-2785

Dear Parents and Carers,

We need your votes!!!

https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/4-2785

The PTA have applied for a grant of £5,000 from the Aviva Community Fund to build an exciting new fitness area on the school field, including several pieces of children’s exercise equipment, which all the children would be able to use.

To be in with a chance of winning this funding we need enough votes to reach the finals, where a panel of judges will decide which projects will win.

Please could we ask you (and as many of your friends and family as possible!) to spare a few minutes to follow the link below and vote for this project.

Based on last year we think we need at least 2,500 – 3,000 votes to reach the finals, so please spread the word, share this letter/link and vote for us!

Voting opens on Tuesday 23rd October until 20th November (at midday)

https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/4-2785

Who can vote?

Anyone who lives in the UK and registers on the Aviva Community Fund website can vote. You don’t need to be an Aviva customer.

How do I vote for a project?

Once you’ve registered on the Aviva Community Fund website, all you need to do is click on the ‘Vote’ button on any project you want to support. Each registered user gets 10 votes. You can use all 10 to support one project.

Can I delete my profile after voting?

Yes, you can delete your profile at any time by contacting Aviva at communityfund@aviva.co.uk

How are the winners decided?

When voting closes the projects with the most votes will become finalists. At the £5,000 level, the top 252 projects will go through to the finals to be judged, and 84 projects will receive funding.

What are we raising money for?

The PTA would like to raise money for a new outdoor fitness area. By itself the school could never afford this type of facility, there is just no local authority funding, so we would like to apply for this and alongside our other fundraising methods throughout the year get this installed so all the children can play on them and have fun!

Other RB projects

The PTA have also submitted some other projects to the Aviva Community Fund requesting funding for gardening equipment, a new interactive whiteboard and some class sets of reading books. You are welcome to vote for these projects if you prefer but if possible we would like you to concentrate our votes on this one project (‘Fun, Fitness and Friends’) then we are more likely to be successful.

Thank you for your support and please share the voting link with as many friends / family / work colleagues / neighbours as possible.

Many thanks for your support!
